Welcome to The Irish Crack—where East London's Irish roots meet razor-sharp comedy. Hosted by the brilliant Jack Hester, this night is a celebration of the Irish heritage that built the backbone of our neighbourhood.

From Hackney to Islington, local pubs have long been owned and run by the Irish community, creating the heart and soul of East London's social scene. The Irish Crack pays tribute to this legacy while showcasing some of the finest Irish comedy talent—both homegrown and imported straight from the Emerald Isle.

We're revisiting the multicultural, immigrant roots of our community with a proper Irish comedy session. Expect quick-fire wit, storytelling that'll make your sides hurt, and that unique Irish charm that turns every night into a memorable one.

Celebrating Black Culture & Community

Black Comedy Night is where culture, community, and comedy collide in the best way possible. Hosted by the incredible Tevin Terret—a powerhouse comedian from the US who's made East London his home—this night is a celebration of Black excellence in comedy.

From local voices to international talent, we're spotlighting the brilliance, resilience, and humor of the Black community right here in our neighbourhood and across the globe. This isn't just comedy; it's a cultural experience that honors Black stories, perspectives, and the unique lens through which we see the world.

Expect bold, unapologetic comedy that celebrates Black identity, tackles real issues with wit and wisdom, and creates a space where everyone's welcome but Black joy takes centre stage.

Queer Comedy Night is where the LGBTQ+ community comes together to laugh, celebrate, and be unapologetically ourselves. Hosted by the fabulous Rhys Thorne, this night is a rainbow-fueled celebration of queer voices, stories, and the kind of comedy that can only come from living life authentically—and hilariously.

From coming-out disasters to dating app nightmares, from chosen family chaos to navigating a world that still can't figure out pronouns—our lineup brings the experiences of the queer community to the stage with wit, warmth, and zero apologies.
